21M and 42M broadband are both older copper wire broadband speeds. In actual use, the main difference between the two is the time it takes to download large files.
For browsing web pages, the difference between 21M and 42M is not significant, as most web pages do not have a large amount of data. However, if you need to download game updates or large files, 42M is about twice as fast. For watching YouTube, 21M can smoothly play 720p, and 42M can play 1080p.
However, nowadays, 21M and 42M are considered very slow. If your building already has fibre optic coverage, it is strongly recommended to upgrade to at least 100M or even 1000M. The price may not be much more expensive, but the speed is dozens of times faster.
