CMHK China Mobile Hong Kong's mobile network has improved significantly in recent years. 4.5G and 5G coverage continues to expand, and its performance in urban areas is now similar to other telecom operators.
However, in remote areas of the New Territories and underground (such as MTR tunnels), CMHK's signal is sometimes slightly weaker than CSL or SmarTone. If you are mainly active in urban areas, CMHK's network quality is perfectly fine.
CMHK's biggest selling point is cross-border use. If you often go back to mainland China or Macau, CMHK's roaming service is the most convenient, and many plans already include Greater Bay Area data.
